Hercules Nos FS 2.2

The "Nos FS 2.2" model from Hercules from 2024 is a high-quality e-mountainbike designed for demanding riders. With a price tag of 4999 euros, it offers a wide range of technical features that are impressive both on and off the road. The frame of the bike is from the eMTB R13 series, made from AL6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a robust and durable structure. The permissible total weight is 135 kg, while the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

The Nos FS 2.2 is suitable for riders between 185 cm and 190 cm tall. It has Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with a brake size of 203 mm at both the front and rear, which ensure reliable braking performance. The gearing is a 10-speed Shimano Cues RD-U6000, which is controlled by the Shimano SL-U6000R shifter and ensures precise gear changes.

The suspension consists of an SR Suntour Zeron36 2CR fork with 150 mm travel and an SR Suntour Edge R 2CR shock with 150 mm travel, which ensures a high level of riding comfort even on rough terrain. The pedals are MTB VP-469 made of aluminium and the crankset is a Hercules EC40. The crankset offers a gear ratio of 11-48T and the drive is provided by a Shimano CN-LG500 chain.

The handlebars are an aluminium MTB riser with a width of 780 mm and a backsweep of 9°. The grips are made of double density with integrated clamping. The stem is a Kalloy AS-ML3 with a length of 60 mm, equipped with MonkeyLink technology. The headset is an Acros AZF-667, semi-integrated.

The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam K-Guard tyres, size 60-622 at the front and 65-584 at the rear, mounted on Rodi Tryp rims. The hubs are Shimano HB-TC500 at the front and FH-TC500 at the rear, each with a centre lock system. The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo, mounted on a Limotec A1Z seatpost with 170 mm travel and remote function.

A special highlight is the EP6 motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 85 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 720 Wh and is integrated as a Simplo Intube. The display is a Shimano SC-EN500, which provides all the important information. The charger is a Simplo 4A.

The geometry of the bike includes a reach of 475 mm, a stack of 653 mm, a seat tube length of 500 mm and a top tube length of 662 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. The head tube length is 140 mm, the chainstay length is 475 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 21 mm. The total wheelbase of the bike is 1278 mm.
