Hercules Nos FS 2.1

The "Nos FS 2.1" model from Hercules from 2024 is a high-performance e-mountainbike designed for demanding riders. With a price tag of €6,599, it offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical specifications that make it an attractive choice for off-road enthusiasts. The frame of the bike is made from eMTB R13-Series AL6061, which gives it a robust and durable structure. The permissible total weight is 135 kg, while the bike itself weighs 24 kg, which represents a good balance of stability and weight.

The Nos FS 2.1 is designed for riders between 185 cm and 190 cm tall, making it ideal for taller people. The hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano M8120 with a disc size of 203 mm both front and rear ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions. The brake levers are also from Shimano, the BL-M8100 models to be precise. The shifting system consists of a Shimano Deore XT RD-M8100 with 12 gears, which, together with the Shimano SL-M8100 shift lever, offers smooth and efficient gear selection.

Suspension is provided by a RockShox Lyrik Select fork with 150 mm travel and a RockShox Shock Deluxe Select R shock with 150 mm travel. This combination provides excellent damping and control on uneven terrain. The drive is supported by an EP801 motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 85 Nm, while the integrated Simplo Intube battery with a capacity of 720 Wh ensures long rides.

The bike is equipped with a Crank Brothers Synthesis wheelset, which is fitted with a Schwalbe Magic Mary Evolution tyre at the front and a Schwalbe Hans Dampf Evolution tyre at the rear. These tyres offer excellent grip and stability on various surfaces. The handlebar is an aluminium MTB riser with a width of 780 mm and a backsweep of 9°, which enables a comfortable and controlled riding position.

Other features include a Selle Royal Aidon saddle, a Limotec A1Z seatpost with 170 mm travel and remote function and an ABUS IT1 battery lock with XPlus cylinder for additional security. The Shimano SC-EN600 display provides all the necessary information about the riding status and performance of the bike. All in all, the Hercules Nos FS 2.1 offers a balanced mix of performance, comfort and safety for demanding mountain bike tours.
