Hercules E-Imperial Max I-12

The Hercules E-Imperial Max I-12, launched in 2023, is a high-quality e-trekking bike featuring an aluminium frame from the eTrekking R22 series, made from AL 6061. It boasts an impressive maximum load capacity of 180 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg. The price for this model is 5199 EUR.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes, each with 180 mm brake discs at the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers. The gear system consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M6100 with 12 speeds, operated by the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shifter. The SR Suntour MOBIE E-25 air suspension fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures a comfortable ride, supported by a BySchulz G2 seatpost with 30 mm of travel.

In terms of lighting, the e-bike is fitted with a powerful Hercules FF-100 front light, which features a daytime running light sensor and a high beam with up to 150 lux. The rear light is the Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED model. Power is provided by the fourth-generation Performance CX Smart System motor, delivering 250 watts of power and 85 Nm of torque, powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The Bosch Kiox 300 display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling and monitoring the e-bike.

Other features include trekking handlebars with Ergo grips, an adjustable Zecure UP2+ stem, and Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres for optimum performance. The Ryde Andra 40 rims are fitted with black Niro spokes, and the hubs are Shimano MT410 models with Centre Lock. The Selle Bassano Suprema 3Zone City saddle offers comfort on long rides.

The bike is also fitted with a Monkey Load system carrier with a spring-loaded flap, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand, and an ABUS IT3 battery lock with an XPlus cylinder for added security. Plastic mudguards from SKS EDGE 66 R and a Horn Catena 17 chain guard complete the specification. With a reach of 421 mm, a stack of 634 mm and a wheelbase of 1157 mm, the E-Imperial Max I-12 offers balanced geometry for a comfortable ride.
