Haibike Trekking 6

The "Trekking 6" model from Haibike, released in 2023, is a versatile trekking e-bike available at a price of 3,399 EUR. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and features an X-12 (1.00) x 148mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier riders too.

The Alhonga HT472 aluminium model is used for the brakes, both for the brake calipers themselves and the brake levers. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore M4120 10-speed system, operated via a Shimano Deore M4100 trigger shifter. The fork is an SR Suntour NEX E25-HLO Lockout with a steel spring, 63 mm of travel and a tapered steel steerer tube (1 1/8" – 1 1/2").

The front light is a Haibike Skybeamer 150 with a luminous intensity of 50 lux, supplemented by an AXA Juno e-bike light. The dynamo is powered by the system battery, ensuring a reliable power supply. The pedals are VP E461 aluminium pedals with reflectors.

The crankset is made of steel with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano M4100 with 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain. The handlebars are XLC Topflat with a width of 720mm, and the grips are XLC Comfort bo3. The stem is also made of aluminium and features an A-Head design, matching the A-Head Tapered headset.

The rims are Schürmann Yak25, eyeleted and made from aluminium as hollow-section rims. The tyres are Schwalbe Al Grounder Performance in size 60-584 with reflective strips for better visibility. Both the front and rear hubs are made of aluminium, as are the spokes, which are black-coated.

The saddle is an XLC Trekking model, mounted on an XLC Patent aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm. The mudguards are made from SKS Chromoplastik, and the kickstand is adjustable and supplied by Ursus Mooi. The luggage rack is a Massload system rack with the MIK system.

The bike is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST system motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged via a 4A fast charger. The display is a Yamaha Multi Switch, which clearly shows all the key information.
