Haibike ALLTRAIL 9

The "ALLTRAIL 9" model from Haibike, released in 2024, is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike designed for challenging trails and versatile off-road riding. Priced at 5,699 EUR, this bike offers excellent value for money, underlined by its high-quality components and robust construction.

The ALLTRAIL 9’s frame is made of aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.00) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The suspension travel is 140 mm, ensuring optimum damping and control on uneven terrain. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg, ensuring high load-bearing capacity.

For the brakes, Haibike has opted for the Magura MT5 system with 203 mm discs, which ensure powerful and precise braking. The brake levers are also from Magura and are made of aluminium, which gives them a high degree of stability. The drivetrain is a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed system, operated via a SRAM NX Eagle Single Click trigger shifter. This enables fast and precise gear changes, even under demanding conditions.

The ALLTRAIL 9’s fork is a RockShox 35 Gold RL with air suspension and 140mm of travel. The aluminium steerer tube is tapered (1 1/8 – 1 1/2”) and the fork features a 15 x 110 mm thru-axle in the Boost standard. The suspension setup is complemented by the RockShox Deluxe Select Plus shock, which is also equipped with air suspension.

The bike comes as standard with aluminium freeride pedals fitted with reflectors. The crankset consists of a SRAM X-Sync 2 with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a SRAM PG1210 with a range of 11–50 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM SX Eagle.

Steering is provided by a Haibike Components TheBar +++ handlebar with a width of 780 mm. The grips are specially optimised for MTB and offer a secure grip. The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem ++ in an A-Head design with a handlebar clamp diameter of 31.8 mm and a rise of 7˚. The headset is an Acros BlockLock.

The rims are WTB ST i35 TCS hollow-section rims, which are renowned for their robustness and durability. The tyres are Schwalbe Magic Mary Evo TLE (front) and Schwalbe Hans Dampf Evo TLE (rear), both in size 65-584. The spokes are Sapim Race, whilst the front and rear hubs are Shimano MT400-B.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo, mounted on a 34.9mm-diameter aluminium Dropper-Post Remote seatpost. This telescopic seatpost allows for quick adjustment of the seat height whilst riding.

The ALLTRAIL 9 is powered by a Yamaha PW-X3 motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 85Nm. The maximum assisted speed is 25km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 720 Wh, which can be charged using a 4A fast charger. The display is a Yamaha Side Switch, which clearly shows all relevant information.
