Haibike Adventr FS 8

The "Adventr FS 8" model from Haibike, released in 2023, offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and well-thought-out features. The aluminium frame, featuring an M12 (1.75) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake, ensures stability and durability with 140 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier loads too.

The braking system consists of Tektro Orion M745 brakes with 203 mm discs at the front and 180 mm at the rear, complemented by Tektro Orion M745 aluminium brake levers. These provide reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore M5100 11-speed system, operated via a Shimano Deore M5100 trigger shifter, which enables precise and rapid gear changes.

The RockShox 35 Silver fork with a steel spring and 140 mm of travel, together with the RockShox Deluxe Select Plus air shock, ensure comfortable suspension and damping on uneven terrain. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light (50 lux) and an AXA Juno Ebike rear light, both powered by the system battery.

The spec also includes aluminium freeride pedals with reflectors, a Samox crankset with 38 teeth, a Shimano M5100 cassette with 11–51 teeth and a KMC X11e chain. The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar ++ with a width of 780 mm, whilst the XLC Comfort bo3 grips ensure a secure grip. The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem ++, A-Head, with a handlebar diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 7˚.

The rims are Rodi Tryp 30, eyeletted, hollow-section aluminium rims, fitted with Continental Ruban tyres (65-584) featuring reflective strips. The front and rear hubs are Haibike Components TheHub ++ models, with the rear hub featuring a 12x148 thru-axle. The spokes are black Sapim Leader.

The saddle is a Selle Bassano Reko R2 E-Sport, mounted on a Haibike Components TheSeatpost ++ aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The bike also features Curana Apollo 80 aluminium mudguards, an adjustable Ursus Mooi kickstand and an Easylife Adventr FS luggage rack with the MIK system.

The Adventr FS 8 is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 630 Wh, which can be charged using a 4A fast charger. The display is a Yamaha Side Switch.
