GASGAS G Cross Country 3.0

The 2022 GASGAS G Cross Country 3.0 is a versatile e-mountain bike which, at a price of 3,999 euros, represents an attractive option for ambitious cyclists. The bike’s frame consists of a robust 29-inch construction made from 6061 alloy with an integrated battery, which not only ensures an attractive appearance but also provides high stability with a maximum permissible weight of up to 130 kg.

The necessary braking power is provided by SRAM Level T series hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston technology, fitted to both the front and rear. These are fitted with SRAM Centerline brake discs, each with a diameter of 180 mm and a 6-hole mounting pattern. Gear changes are handled by a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, operated via a Single Click shifter, which, in combination with the SRAM PG-1210 cassette (11-50T), ensures precise gear changes.

The RockShox 35 Silver TK fork with Solo Air technology offers 120 mm of travel and ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The aluminium pedals from GASGAS and the R Raymon EC40 crankset, made from forged aluminium, round off the high-quality specification. The handlebars, a GASGAS Riser with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, are ergonomically shaped and, with a 6° sweep and a 15 mm rise, provide a comfortable hand position.

The bike is fitted with Continental Cross King tyres in size 58-622 (29x2.3), mounted on Mach 1 TRAXX rims reinforced with stainless steel spokes. The hubs – GASGAS DA210F at the front and DA210R at the rear – are robustly constructed and, with their 6-hole mountings, provide a reliable base for the disc brakes.

The G Cross Country 3.0 is powered by the high-performance Yamaha PW-X3 motor, delivering 250 W of power and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The integrated Simplo Tube battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh, ensures long-lasting assistance on extended rides. The Yamaha Display A provides all key information at a glance and allows for easy control of the assistance modes.

Further technical details include a seat tube length of 500 mm, a reach of 450 mm and a stack of 656 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. With a head tube length of 130 mm and a chainstay length of 475 mm, the bike offers balanced geometry for agile handling. The wheelbase measures 1220 mm in total, which gives the G Cross Country 3.0 stability at higher speeds.
