Fuji JARI 2.3

The 2021 Fuji JARI 2.3 is a versatile gravel bike, available at a price of 1,099 EUR. The frame is made from A6-SL super-butted aluminium with a tapered head tube, providing a balanced combination of lightness and stability. The chromoly fork, featuring a tapered steerer tube, is fitted with mounts for bottle cages and a luggage rack, making the bike ideal for longer tours.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro Mira mechanical disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, operated by Shimano Sora brake levers. The drivetrain is fitted with Shimano Alivio components, whilst the shift levers are Shimano Sora STI units, enabling a 2 x 9-speed gearing. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Sora model, ensuring precise shifting performance.

The bottom bracket is fitted with sealed cartridge bearings, which contribute to durability and ease of maintenance. The FSA Tempo crankset has a 46/30-tooth ratio and is complemented by a KMC X9 chain. The handlebars, an Oval Concepts 325 made from 6061 aluminium, offer a comfortable grip position with a 125 mm drop, 25-degree flare and 4-degree sweep. The grips are made from a soft suede-like material from Oval Concepts 300.

The stem is an Oval Concepts 313, made from 3D-forged 6061 aluminium, and offers an angle of +/-6 degrees. The FSA headset is integrated and measures 1 1/8” at the top and 1 1/2” at the bottom. The tyres are WTB Riddlers, sized 37-622 with a 30 tpi casing, mounted on WTB ST i23 TCS rims with Formula hubs. These have 32 spokes per wheel and are tubeless-compatible.

The saddle, an Oval Concepts 238 model with steel rails, combined with the Fuji aluminium seatpost (27.2 mm diameter), ensures comfort on long rides. Overall, the Fuji JARI 2.3 offers a solid spec for gravel enthusiasts who value reliability and versatility.
