Fuji JARI 2.1 LTD

The 2021 Fuji JARI 2.1 LTD is a versatile gravel bike designed for a variety of surfaces and conditions. Priced at 1,549 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance and features. The frame of the JARI 2.1 LTD is made from A6-SL super-butted aluminium and features a tapered head tube, which ensures increased stiffness and stability. The fork is made from C10 carbon monocoque, with a tapered carbon steerer tube and a 100x12mm thru-axle, which gives the bike additional strength and reduces its weight.

The bike’s brakes are TRP HY/RD disc brakes, which are operated both hydraulically and mechanically and are fitted with 160mm rotors. These brakes provide reliable stopping power in a wide range of conditions. The drivetrain components are from Shimano Tiagra, including the shift levers, front derailleur and the 2x10-speed cassette, which enable precise and smooth gear changes.

The crankset is an FSA Vero Pro with 48/33T, whilst the drivetrain is complemented by a KMC X10 chain. The bottom bracket is fitted with sealed cartridge bearings, which contribute to the durability and reliability of the drivetrain. The handlebars are Oval Concepts 325, made from 6061 aluminium with a 31.8mm clamp and an ergonomic design offering a 125mm drop, 25-degree flare and 4-degree sweep. The grips are made from suede by Oval Concepts 300, which enhances comfort on longer rides.

The JARI 2.1 LTD features an Oval Concepts 313 stem made from 3D-forged 6061 aluminium with a tilt angle of +/-6 degrees. The headset is by FSA and is integrated, with a 1 1/8” upper and a 1 1/2” lower bearing. The tyres are Vittoria Revolution Tech in size 700x40, fitted with a reflective strip to improve visibility in low-light conditions. The wheelset consists of WTB ST i23 TCS rims with a KT 12mm TA dynamo at the front and a Formula hub at the rear, each with 32 spokes and tubeless-compatible.

The Oval Concepts 238 saddle with steel rails, mounted on a 27.2mm-diameter aluminium Fuji seatpost, provides additional comfort. The bike is also fitted with Bikeman Composite mudguards, secured with stainless steel fittings. Lighting is provided by the AXA Blueline 50 front light with a 50 LUX steady mode, as well as a battery-powered rear light. Overall, the Fuji JARI 2.1 LTD is a well-equipped and high-performance gravel bike, suitable for both adventures on unpaved trails and everyday use.
