Fuji JARI 1.3

The 2021 Fuji JARI 1.3 is a versatile gravel bike, available for €1,599. The frame is made from A6-SL super-butted aluminium and features a tapered head tube and a T47 bottom bracket. The frame has a 142x12mm thru-axle, which provides additional stability. The bike’s fork is a C10 carbon monocoque construction with a tapered carbon steerer tube and a 100x12mm thru-axle, which ensures precise steering.

Braking performance is provided by TRP SPYRE mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors, operated by SRAM Apex 1 brake levers. The drivetrain is based on the SRAM Apex 1 system with a 1 x 11-speed drivetrain, which enables efficient power transfer. The crankset is an FSA Omega Adventure BB386 EVO with a 40-tooth chainring, whilst the chain is a KMC X11.

The JARI 1.3’s cockpit consists of an Oval Concepts 325 handlebar made from 6061 aluminium, featuring a 31.8mm clamp diameter, a 125mm drop, a 25-degree flare and a 4-degree sweep. The grips are made from suede by Oval Concepts 300 and offer comfort on longer rides. The stem is an Oval Concepts 313 made from 3D-forged 6061 aluminium with a tilt angle of +/-6 degrees.

The headset is an integrated system from FSA with an upper bearing size of 1 1/8 inches and a lower bearing size of 1 1/2 inches. The tyres are WTB Resolute TCS Tubeless Light in size 42-622 and are foldable, making them ideal for a variety of surfaces. The wheelset consists of WTB ST i23 Light TCS rims, Formula hubs and 32H, 14G spokes, and is tubeless-compatible.

The saddle is the Oval Concepts 438T model with steel rails, and the seatpost is also an Oval Concepts 300 made from aluminium with a diameter of 27.2 mm. These components round off the JARI 1.3 and make it a solid choice for gravel enthusiasts looking for a reliable and versatile bike.
