Focus JAM² SL 9.9

The 2023 Focus JAM² SL 9.9 is a high-end e-mountain bike, positioned in the upper price bracket at a price of 8,999 EUR. The bike’s frame is constructed using Max Carbon technology, which ensures lightness and stability. With 150 mm of suspension travel, based on F.O.L.D. GEN3 kinematics, and a 148x12 mm thru-axle, the bike offers excellent control and damping on challenging trails. The internal cable routing and the Post Mount 180 mm brake mounts contribute to a clean, uncluttered appearance.

The JAM² SL 9.9 has a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, making it robust enough for both rider and luggage. The braking system consists of Shimano XT M8120 four-piston brakes, fitted with 203 mm rotors at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore XT M8100 12-speed system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

Suspension is provided by the FOX 36 Float Performance Elite fork with 160 mm of travel and the FOX Float X Performance shock with 150 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride. The display is a Fazua LED Hub with Ring Control, which allows for intuitive control of the motor. The bike’s geometry is designed for a sporty riding style, with a reach of 485 mm, a stack of 632 mm and a head tube angle of 65 degrees. The seat tube angle is 76 degrees, which enables efficient power transfer.
