FALTER U 7.0

The 2024 FALTER U 7.0 model is a versatile bicycle that stands out for its high-quality features and well-thought-out design. Priced at 1,499 euros, it offers excellent value for money. The bike’s frame features a trapezoidal design and supports a maximum load of up to 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg. The brakes are fitted with Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear and use the Centre Lock system.

The gear system consists of a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-S503-8 gear lever, which enables precise and easy gear changes. The rigid fork, made from Unicrown aluminium, contributes to the bike’s stability and lightness. Lighting is provided at the front by the Herrmans MR4 LED with 35 LUX and at the rear by the Herrmans H-Cargo LED with a parking light function, both of which are powered by a Shimano hub dynamo.

Power is transmitted via a Gates CDNB115 belt, which, in combination with the Gates CDNKGA46 crankset and the Gates CDN-22 sprocket, ensures a quiet and low-maintenance ride. The handlebars are a MATRIX HB-RB11 with a width of 620 mm, combined with an Ergotec Charisma stem, which is 90 mm long. The ergonomic MATRIX VLG-649D2 grips offer comfort even on longer rides.

The U 7.0’s rims are made from Mach1 650 hollow-chamber aluminium and fitted with Schwalbe Marathon GT Reflex tyres in size 40-622, which are renowned for their good traction and puncture resistance. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano DH-3D37 CL Disc QR hub dynamo, whilst the rear features a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear. The Selle Royal Essenza Plus Moderate saddle, combined with the MATRIX seatpost, ensures a comfortable riding position.

Additional features such as SKS A46S mudguards, a Hebie Chainbar chain guard, an Ursus Mooi rear stand and an Atran Velo Tour Pro luggage rack with integrated spring-loaded flap and rear light round off the overall package. With a reach of 424 mm, a stack of 611 mm and a top tube length of 600 mm, the FALTER U 7.0 offers a balanced geometry that ensures both comfort and control.
