The "FX 403 ND Wave anthracite/pink, glossy" model from FALTER, released in 2022, combines functionality with stylish design at a price of 469 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The braking system comprises V-brakes at the front and rear, as well as a coaster brake, which provides additional safety. The brake levers are made of aluminium and designed as 2.5-finger levers, making them easy to operate.

The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear with coaster brake, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-3S41 gear lever. The rigid fork is a unicrown design made from Hi-Ten steel, which gives the bike stability. Lighting is provided by a MATRIX LED front light with 20 LUX and a MATRIX LED rear light with a parking light function, both of which are powered by a hub dynamo.

The pedals are VP-809 children’s pedals, which have been specially developed for young riders. The bottom bracket is a square-taper type, whilst the MATRIX crankset features 38 teeth and a length of 152 mm. The chainring has 19 teeth and the drivetrain uses a KMC Z6 chain. The handlebars are ergonomically shaped MATRIX children’s handlebars with Herrmans 89 children’s grips, which ensure comfort and safety.

The stem is made of aluminium, and the headset is a MATRIX 1 1/8-inch model. The rims are made of aluminium with a hollow-chamber profile and have 32 holes, which provides additional stability. The tyres are MATRIX More Miles 1 Reflex, size 47-507, which offer good road holding. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano DH-C30003 hub dynamo (3 watts), whilst the rear hub features a Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear with a coaster brake.

Stainless steel spokes contribute to the bike’s durability. The saddle is the MATRIX Kids model, mounted on a steel seat post. Plastic mudguards from MATRIX protect against splashes, whilst a plastic chain guard offers additional protection. The aluminium centre stand ensures the bike stands securely, and the steel-tube luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap offers practical transport options.
