Excelsior Cracker

The "Cracker" model from Excelsior, released in 2022, is a well-equipped bicycle priced at 579 euros. It is fitted with an ALHONGA racing brake, which, in combination with the TEKTRO brake levers, ensures reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO “Sora RD-R3000”, whilst the shift levers are from the SHIMANO “Claris” series, enabling precise and smooth gear selection. The steel fork gives the bike stability and durability.

The bike is fitted with an aluminium cage pedal set and features a THUN bottom bracket with a length of 118 mm. The crankset measures 170 mm, and the cassette is a SHIMANO “HG50” with a range of 11–32 teeth. Power is transmitted via the KMC “Z72” chain.

The handlebars are made of aluminium, have a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 400 mm. They are wrapped in VELO handlebar tape, which ensures a comfortable grip. The stem is also made of aluminium and is an Ahead-style stem. The rims are hollow-section aluminium rims with 36 spokes, finished in an elegant black. The tyres are cyclocross models in size 32-622, which give the bike versatility on a variety of surfaces.

The hubs are made of aluminium; the front and rear hubs are from KT, with the latter designed for an 8-speed system. The saddle is a specialist road bike saddle, mounted on a patented aluminium seatpost measuring Ø 27.2 x 350 mm.
