Electra Loft Go! 7D EQ Step-Over

The "Loft Go! 7D EQ Step-Over" model from Electra, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike priced at 1,999 EUR. The frame is made from 6061-T6 aluminium, which not only gives the bike stability but also keeps its weight down to 21 kg. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, guaranteeing a robust construction and high load-bearing capacity.

The mechanical disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, featuring 160 mm rotors and a flat-mount system, ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The gear lever is a Microshift TS39-7 thumb shifter, which, in combination with the 7-speed cassette (14–34 t) and the KMC Z7 drivetrain, ensures precise and smooth gear changes.

The Hi-Ten steel Unicrown fork, with straight and tapered stanchions, offers stability and comfort. For safety when cycling at night, the bike is fitted with a Spanninga LED lighting system, which includes a Herrmans H-Black MR4-E headlight with 120 lumens and 40 lux. The plastic platform pedals provide a solid base for the rider.

The crankset is made of forged aluminium, with a length of 170 mm and a 44-tooth chainring, complemented by a chain guard. The aluminium handlebars, 700 mm wide with a custom 18.5° bend, ensure a comfortable riding position. The grips are made from Comfort Kraton, offering additional comfort.

The stem is also made from forged aluminium, measures 60 mm in length and is Bontrager Blendr-compatible, making it easy to adjust to individual needs. The headset is threadless and made from steel. The Kenda Piedmont tyres, sized 700 x 40C, offer good grip and stability on a variety of surfaces.

The retro sports saddle, made from faux leather with rivets, offers a classic look and comfort. The seatpost is made from aluminium and features a Micro Adjust function. A rear-mounted aluminium kickstand makes it easy to park the bike.

The integrated battery in the down tube has a capacity of 252 Wh and is compatible with a range extender, which increases the bike’s range. The charger provides an output of 2 A at 42 V and is designed for input voltages ranging from 100 V to 240 V AC. With a wheelbase of 112 mm and a step-over height of 78 mm, the Loft Go! 7D EQ Step-Over offers balanced handling and a comfortable riding position.
