Diamant Zouma Deluxe+ S (Einstieg: hoch)

The "Zouma Deluxe+ S (high step-through)" model from Diamant, released in 2023, is a high-performance e-bike priced at 3,999 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from Alpha Smooth aluminium and features an integrated, removable battery and internal cable routing. The frame is also fitted with a Motor Armor and a post-mount disc brake mount, and features a 135 x 5 mm quick-release axle. The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 136 kg.

The braking system comprises front and rear hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes from Magura (MT5NE or MT4NE) with a brake light switch, as well as a 6-hole disc mount and 180 mm discs, which have been specially developed for speed pedelecs. The gear system is controlled by a Shimano Deore M4100 shifter with 10 speeds. The fork is an SR Suntour Mobie25 with 45 mm of travel, adjustable spring preload, adjustable rebound damping and a lockout function.

Lighting is provided at the front by the Spanninga Axendo 100 Speed headlight and at the rear by the Busch & Müller 650 LED rear light with brake light and number plate holder. The pedals are non-slip aluminium pedals with reflectors. The crankset is made of aluminium by ProWheel with a crank arm length of 175 mm. The cassette is also from Shimano Deore M4100 and offers a range of 11–46 teeth.

The handlebars are aluminium low-riser bars, 690 mm wide with an 11-degree bend. The grips are Bontrager Satellite Elite with aluminium clamps. The stem is a Bontrager Elite with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 110 mm. The headset is an integrated FSA headset with sealed cartridge bearings.

The tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto-X with GreenGuard puncture protection and reflective strips, certified to ECE-R75. The wheelset consists of Alex MD35 rims, which are tubeless-compatible, and Bontrager hubs with sealed bearings. The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo Moderate Ergo, mounted on a Bontrager aluminium seatpost.

The bike is also fitted with SKS plastic mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand and a lightweight aluminium luggage rack with the MIK system. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Speed motor with 85 Nm of torque and a top speed of 45 km/h, powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The display is a Bosch Intuvia with a remote control, and the charger has an output of 4A.

The bike’s geometry includes a seat tube length of 53 mm, a top tube length of 62 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, a chainstay length of 49 mm and a wheelbase of 116 mm. These technical specifications make the Zouma Deluxe+ S a versatile e-bike for discerning riders.
