Cube Stereo Hybrid 120 Pro 500 lunar´n´grey

The "Stereo Hybrid 120 Pro 500 lunar’n’grey" model from Cube, released in 2021, offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components at a price of 3349 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology, Efficient Comfort Control and the FSP 4-Link system. This design ensures high stability and a comfortable ride. In addition, the frame features Boost 148, a fully integrated battery and mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack. The e-bike’s total weight is 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT420/MT400) with 203 mm rotors at the front and 180 mm at the rear. The drivetrain is a SRAM SX Eagle™ 12-speed system, operated via the SRAM SX Eagle™ trigger shifter with Single Click. The RockShox Recon Air RL fork with a tapered head tube and 120 mm of travel, along with the RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock featuring a trunnion mount and rebound adjustment, deliver outstanding suspension performance.

The e-bike is fitted with CUBE PP MTB pedals, an ACID E-Crank crankset with 38 teeth and a length of 170 mm, and a SRAM PG-1210 Eagle™ cassette (11-50T). The handlebars are Newmen Evolution SL 318.25 with a width of 760 mm, complemented by Natural Fit All Terrain grips and a CUBE Performance Stem E-MTB stem with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an ACROS AZX-1032 or AZX-1030, depending on wheel size, and features a BlockLock function with a 120° angle.

The CUBE EX30 rims are tubeless-ready and have 32 spokes, whilst the tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam (Active, 2.60). The hubs are by Shimano: the front is an HB-MT400-B with a 15 mm axle and Boost standard, whilst the rear is an FH-MT400-B with a 12 mm axle and also Boost standard. The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, held in place by a CUBE Varioclose Semi-Integrated seat clamp (34.9 mm).

The bike is powered by a Bosch Drive Unit Performance CX Generation 4 motor with a torque of 85 Nm and an output of 250 watts. The Bosch PowerTube 500 battery provides the necessary power, whilst the Bosch Purion display clearly shows all the important information.
