Cube Nature SL teak´n´orange

The "Nature SL teak'n'orange" model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile, high-quality trekking bike that stands out for its robust construction and first-class specifications. The frame is made from Superlite Trekking Cross Taper Double Butted aluminium, which not only gives the bike stability but also ensures a low weight of just 12 kg.

The Nature SL’s brakes are from the Shimano XT BL-T8000 series and, with disc sizes of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, offer reliable and powerful braking performance. The Shimano XT series is also used for the gear system: the front derailleur (Shimano XT FD-T8000, Top Swing, 31.8 mm) and the rear derailleur (Shimano XT RD-T8000, 10-speed), together with the shift levers (Shimano XT SL-T8000), ensure precise and smooth gear changes.

The suspension is complemented by the SR Suntour NCX E RL Air suspension fork with 63 mm of travel, which features a tapered head tube and a remote lockout function. The pedals are ACID PP Trekking models and provide a solid foundation for long rides.

The crankset consists of the Shimano XT FC-T8000 with Hollowtech II technology and offers a gear ratio of 48x36x26T with a crank arm length of 175 mm. The cassette is a Shimano CS-M771 with an 11–34T range, and power is transmitted via the Shimano CN-HG95 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars with a width of 660 mm, complemented by Natural Fit All Terrain grips for added comfort. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the headset is a VP Integrated System (1 1/8" top, 1 1/2" bottom).

The bike is fitted with CUBE EX21 rims, which feature 32 spokes and are tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe Land Cruiser Active Light in size 50-622, which are characterised by their versatility on a variety of surfaces. The front and rear hubs are Shimano XT HB-M8000 and FH-M8000 respectively, with quick-release skewers and CentreLock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence+, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

Priced at EUR 1,549, this model offers an excellent combination of lightweight construction, comfort and technical refinements, making it an outstanding choice for discerning trekking enthusiasts.
