Cube Compact Hybrid Sport white´n´black

The 2021 ‘Compact Hybrid Sport white’n’black’ model from Cube is a versatile and high-performance e-bike, available for 2549 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and features Comfort Ride Geometry, ensuring a comfortable riding position. The semi-integrated luggage rack and front carrier compatibility offer additional flexibility when using the bike. Weighing 23 kg, the bike is robust and stable.

The bike is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) – 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear – which deliver reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Tiagra RD-4700-GS 10-speed rear derailleur, which, in combination with the Shimano Tiagra SL-4700 shifter, enables precise and smooth gear changes. The fork is also made of aluminium, which contributes to the bike’s overall stability.

Lighting is provided at the front by the Herrmans H-Black MR4 light, operating at 6–12V DC, and at the rear by the ACID Pro E-Rear Mudguard rear light. The crankset consists of an ACID E-Crank with 44 teeth and a length of 165 mm. The cassette (Shimano CS-HG500) has a range of 11–34T and is driven by a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars with a 15° back-shift and a width of 720 mm, which allows for an ergonomic hand position. The grips are Natural Fit Comfort models, which offer additional comfort. The stem is a BySchulz Speedlifter Twist Pro SDS T14, which allows for easy adjustment of the handlebar height. The headset is a semi-integrated model from Cube (H835D3) with sealed bearings.

The rims are CUBE EX30, 32H, disc and tubeless-ready, ensuring high stability and puncture resistance. The tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto-X with Double Defense technology and a size of 64-406, providing excellent traction and riding comfort. The front hub is a Shimano HB-TX505 QR Centerlock and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505 QR Centerlock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Nuance Lite model, mounted on a Newmen Evolution seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The mudguards are ACID 75 models, which provide effective protection against splash water. A CUBE CentreStand ensures the bike stands securely when parked.

The luggage rack is an ACID 20" Semi-Integrated Carrier, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter and thus offers additional mounting options. The bike is powered by a Bosch Drive Unit Performance Generation 3 motor with 65 Nm of torque and an output of 250 watts. The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery ensures sufficient range, whilst the Bosch Purion display offers ease of use and clear readability.
