Conway Xyron C 227

The “Xyron C 227” model from Conway, released in 2021, is an e-bike fitted with a range of high-quality components and available for 3,699 euros. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and is specifically designed to accommodate the fourth-generation Bosch “Performance CX” mid-drive motor. This motor operates at a voltage of 36 V and a power output of 250 W, supported by a Bosch PT lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh.

The Xyron C 227’s braking system is fitted with TEKTRO “HD-M735” disc brakes, featuring a 203 mm front rotor and an 180 mm rear rotor, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system is a SHIMANO “Deore RD-M5120 Shadow Plus” 10-speed system, controlled via the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M4100” shift levers. Suspension is provided by a SUNTOUR “XCR34 Air LOR” fork with 140 mm of travel and a FOX “Float DPS” rear shock, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain.

The bike is also fitted with a CONTEC “LED Aurora 100 E+ 40” front light and a TRELOCK “Duo Flat LS 614” LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The crankset consists of MIRANDA “Epsilon” components, and the cassette is a SHIMANO “CS-M4100” with a gear ratio of 11–46 teeth. The handlebar system comprises a LEVEL 9 “Low Riser” handlebar and a LEVEL 9 “Adjustable” stem, which, together with the CONWAY “Sport fix” grips, ensure comfortable handling.

The rims are RODI “Ready 30”, combined with SCHWALBE “Johnny Watts” tyres, which are available in size 60-584 for both the front and rear and feature reflective strips. The hubs are KT “6-Bolt”, with the front axle measuring 15 x 110 mm and the rear axle 12 x 148 mm. A CONWAY “1489 sport light” saddle and a CONWAY “Droper Post” seatpost provide additional comfort.

Additional features include SKS plastic mudguards, an URSUS aluminium kickstand and an ATRAN “Cummute Pro” luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it a robust choice for a variety of riding conditions. The Bosch “Purion” display offers four assistance levels as well as a push assist, making the e-bike easy to operate.
