Conway RLC 2.9

The "RLC 2.9" model from Conway, released in 2022, is a mountain bike priced at 2,049 EUR. It is fitted with high-quality components that offer both performance and reliability. The bike’s brakes are the SHIMANO “BR-MT410”, complemented by SHIMANO “BL-MT401” brake levers. Effective braking performance is ensured by the SHIMANO “SM-RT30” brake discs, measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear.

The gear system consists of the SRAM “SX Eagle” 12-speed groupset, operated by the SRAM “SX Eagle Trigger” shift lever. The bike’s fork is the ROCKSHOX “Recon Silver RL” with 100 mm of travel, which provides good suspension on uneven terrain. The bottom bracket is the SRAM “PF 92 DUB”, whilst the cassette is a SRAM “PG 1230 Eagle” with a gear range of 11–50 teeth. The drivetrain is also provided by the SRAM “SX Eagle” groupset.

The handlebars are CONWAY “Alloy light flat” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 740 mm, fitted with SQlab “70X” grips for comfortable handling. The stem is a CONWAY “Alloy light” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 80 mm. The headset is an IS42 / ZS56 with Blocklock technology.

The bike’s rims are RODI “Ryot 25”, whilst the tyres are CONTINENTAL “Race King”, Perf., sized 55-622, which are renowned for their good grip and durability. The front hub is a SHIMANO “HB-MT400” measuring 15x110 mm and the rear hub is a SHIMANO “FH-MT400” measuring 12x148 mm. The spokes are made of stainless steel (Niro), which provides additional stability.

The saddle is the CONWAY “1489 sport light” model, mounted on a CONWAY “Alloy light” seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. Overall, the Conway RLC 2.9 offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability, ideal for ambitious mountain bikers.
