Conway MS 6.9

Conway’s “MS 6.9” model from 2024 offers a solid spec at a price of 899 EUR. The bike’s frame is an aluminium hardtail measuring 46 cm, which contributes to a stable yet lightweight total weight of 14 kg. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

In terms of the braking system, the model is fitted with TEKTRO “HD-M280” disc brakes at both the front and rear, each with 160 mm brake discs. These provide reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The gear system consists of a 12-speed SRAM “SX” groupset, operated by an SRAM “SX Eagle Trigger” shifter. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM “SX Eagle” crankset with a 32-tooth chainring and a SRAM “PG 1210 Eagle” cassette, covering a range of 11–50 teeth.

The front fork is an RST “Blaze RLO” with 100 mm of travel, which ensures good suspension on uneven terrain. The pedals are Welgo “C280DU” 1-piece, which ensure efficient power transfer. The handlebars are CONWAY risers with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, paired with CONWAY “Sport” grips and a 70 mm CONWAY stem.

The wheels consist of RODI “Blackrock 23” rims fitted with WTB “Ranger” tyres in size 57-622. The hubs are CONWAY “Alloy” QR, both front and rear, and are laced with black steel spokes. The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo”, mounted on a CONWAY Patent seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm.

The bike has no additional fittings such as lights, mudguards or a luggage rack, making it a minimalist model that focuses on the essential components. The bike’s geometry features a stack of 634 mm, a seat tube length of 457 mm and a wheelbase of 1089 mm, which contributes to a balanced riding position. With a seat tube angle of 72 degrees and a head tube length of 120 mm, the MS 6.9 offers a comfortable riding experience across a variety of terrains.
