Conway MS 527

The "MS 527" model from Conway, launched in 2021, is a well-designed mountain bike available at a price of 599 euros. The frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight construction. With a maximum rider weight of 130 kg, it is suitable for a wide range of riders. The braking system comprises SHIMANO “BR-MT200” brakes and the matching “BL-MT200” brake levers, complemented by 160 mm diameter brake discs at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The bike’s gear system is fitted with the SHIMANO “Alivio RD-M3100” and offers 27 gears, controlled via the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M2000” shift levers. The front derailleur is also from SHIMANO, model “Altus FD-M2000”. The RST “Blaze RLO” fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain.

The bottom bracket is the SHIMANO “BB-UN100”, combined with a SHIMANO “FC-M101” crankset, which features chainrings with 22/30/40 teeth and a length of 170 mm. The cassette is a SHIMANO “HG200” with 11–34 teeth, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC “Z99” chain.

The handlebars are CONWAY risers with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, fitted with CONWAY “Sport” grips. The stem also has a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is available in sizes ZS44 and ZS56.

The RODI “Blackrock 23” rims are fitted with KENDA “Booster” tyres, which measure 56-584 at both the front and rear. The hubs are SHIMANO “HB-TX505” QR at the front and “FH-TX505” QR at the rear, supported by black steel spokes. The bike is fitted with the Conway “3378 light” saddle, mounted on a CONWAY patented seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.
