Conway MS 16

The "MS 16" model from Conway, released in 2021, is a children’s bike that stands out thanks to its well-thought-out technical specifications and attractive price of 269 EUR. The frame is made of aluminium, contributing to a total weight of 45 kg, which is the maximum permissible weight. Safety is ensured by the braking system, which comprises TEKTRO V-Brake ‘J310’ brakes and TEKTRO ‘Kids’ brake levers designed specifically for children.

The aluminium Unicrown fork complements the frame’s lightweight construction and, together with the UNION “SP-833” pedals, ensures a reliable and stable ride. The bottom bracket is from THUN, whilst the crankset – featuring a 32-tooth chainring and a length of 102 mm – is made of aluminium. The sprocket has 18 teeth and the drivetrain is powered by the KMC “Z410” chain.

The handlebars, which are 470 mm wide and specially designed for children, together with the CONWAY “Kids” grips, offer good handling and control. The stem is a CONWAY A-Head model, which contributes to the stability of the steering. The rims are made from aluminium in a single-wall construction and fitted with SCHWALBE “Black Jack” tyres in the size 16” x 1.90, which are used on both the front and rear wheels. The hubs are made from aluminium by KT and fitted with black steel spokes.

The CONWAY “Kids” saddle and the matching CONWAY patented seatpost offer comfort and adjustability for young riders. In addition, a CHAINRUNNER chain guard ensures safety and keeps the bike clean whilst riding. Overall, the Conway MS 16 is a well-designed and robust bicycle, specifically tailored to children’s needs without compromising on safety or functionality.
