Conway MC 200 rigid

Conway’s “MC 200 rigid” model from 2023 is a versatile bike that, at a price of 399 EUR, represents excellent value for money. Weighing just 9 kg and with a maximum load capacity of 45 kg, it is lightweight yet robust enough for everyday use. The SACCON “V-Brake” brakes, combined with TEKTRO brake levers, ensure reliable braking power and safety. The 7-speed SHIMANO “TX-35” derailleur, controlled by the SHIMANO “SL-RS45” shifter, allows for precise and easy adjustment of speed.

The bike features an aluminium unicrown fork and a 32-tooth, 127 mm-long crankset, which, together with the SHIMANO “HG20” cassette and the KMC “Z50” drivetrain, ensures efficient riding. The Art Nouveau-style handlebars, 500 mm wide, and the CONWAY “Junior” grips offer comfort and control. The ONE Sport A-Head stem and the EC34 / EC34 headset complement the steering precision.

Lighting is provided by the AXA “Ecoline 15” front light with LED technology and a brightness of 15 lux, whilst the SPANNINGA “Pixeo” rear light ensures visibility at night. The SHIMANO “DHC3000” QR hub dynamo reliably powers the lighting system. The CONWAY “J 19” hollow-section rims are fitted with SCHWALBE “Big Apple” tyres, which are size 50-406 at both the front and rear and feature reflective strips for added safety.

The hubs consist of a SHIMANO hub dynamo at the front and a KT aluminium hub at the rear, both fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms to allow for easy maintenance. The black steel spoke construction contributes to the bike’s durability. The CONWAY “Junior” saddle and the ONE Sport seatpost, with a diameter of 27.2 mm, offer comfort on longer rides. Plastic mudguards protect against splashes, whilst the aluminium kickstand ensures stability when parked. Overall, the MC 200 rigid is a well-equipped bike, ideal for young riders who value quality and functionality.
