Centurion Backfire R800i EQ

The 2024 Centurion Backfire R800i EQ is a high-performance e-bike characterised by modern technology and high-quality components. The frame is made of aluminium and is designed for 29-inch wheels. It features a tapered head tube (1.5" – 1.8" tapered) and a dropout measuring 12x148mm. The brakes are fitted via 180mm post-mount brackets, and the frame complies with the UDH standard. With a frame code of TBP058A, the bike is designed for a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg and has a kerb weight of 25 kg.

The Backfire R800i EQ is equipped for high performance and comfort. The SHIMANO BR-MT520 4-piston brakes, combined with the SHIMANO BL-MT501 brake levers, ensure reliable braking power. The front brake disc is a SHIMANO Deore SM-RT64 and the rear is a SHIMANO RT-EM600; the front disc has a diameter of 203 mm and the rear 180 mm. The SR SUNTOUR Zeron35 BOOST Air LOR fork offers 100 mm of travel, which, combined with the MAXXIS Ardent 29x2.4" tyres, ensures a comfortable ride. The PROCRAFT Trail Pro 35 handlebars are 760 mm wide with a 20 mm rise, whilst the stem is 40 mm long. The PROCRAFT Sport Comp grips and the PROCRAFT Race saddle provide additional comfort.

The bike is fitted with a BOSCH Performance Line CX motor, powered by a BOSCH PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. Control is via the BOSCH Intuvia 100 display, supplemented by the BOSCH Mini Remote. Charging is carried out using the BOSCH Standard Charger.

Other features include the PROCRAFT Edge FS kickstand, CURANA Apollo 75 mudguards and the CENTURION Racktime Snapit 2.0 Pro luggage rack. Lighting is provided by the LEZYNE Mini STVZO E65 front light and the AXA Juno rear light. The Backfire R800i EQ is suitable for riders between 156 cm and 174 cm tall, and offers balanced geometry with a head tube angle of 68 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees.
