Cannondale 700 M Quick Neo EQ

Cannondale’s 2021 ‘700 M Quick Neo EQ’ model is a versatile e-bike designed for both urban use and longer rides. Priced at €3,799, this model offers a balanced combination of high-quality components and advanced technology.

The bike’s frame is made from SmartForm C1 Alloy and features SAVE technology, which provides improved shock absorption. Ai (Asymmetric Integration) technology optimises the chainline and improves stability. The frame also features a flat-mount brake mount and a 142x12 mm thru-axle standard.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano (MT200) hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm RT26 rotors at the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano (MT200) and offer reliable and precise braking control. The drivetrain is fitted with a Shimano Deore GS rear derailleur and a 10-speed Shimano Deore shifter, enabling smooth and efficient gear changes.

The fork on the 700 M Quick Neo EQ is made from BallisTec carbon and features a tapered steerer tube (1-1/8" to 1.5") and a 55 mm offset. It is fitted with a flat-mount brake mount and a 12x100 mm thru-axle, which provides additional stiffness and precision.

The e-bike’s drive system is supplied by Bosch. The Bosch Performance Line motor, with an output of 250 W, is supported by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Kiox display offers a clear and intuitive user interface for controlling the system. A Bosch 4A charger ensures fast charging times.

Further equipment highlights include the FSA Bosch e-bike crankset with a 38T chainring and a Shimano HG500 cassette (11-42, 10-speed). Power is transmitted via a Shimano HG54 chain. The handlebars are Cannondale 3 Flat, made from 6061 double-butted aluminium, with a width of 720 mm and an 8° sweep. The Cannondale Ergo Fitness Dual Density grips offer additional comfort. The stem is also by Cannondale (Model 3), made from 6061 aluminium, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a 7° angle.

The bike rides on Cannondale 2 rims with a double-walled construction and 32 spokes, fitted with WTB Exposure TCS tyres (700 x 34c), which are tubeless-ready and provide excellent traction. The hubs are by Formula: the RX-512 model (12x100 mm) at the front and the DC-142 model (12x142 mm) at the rear. The spokes are DT Swiss Champion.

The saddle is a Fabric Scoop Radius Sport with steel struts, mounted on a Cannondale 3 seatpost made from 6061 aluminium, available in sizes S–M with a length of 350 mm and in sizes L–XL with a length of 400 mm.
