Bulls Wildcross Street

The 2023 ‘Wildcross Street’ model from Bulls is a versatile and robust bike that is equally suited to urban use and occasional off-road adventures. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers a good balance of quality and functionality.

The Wildcross Street’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a sturdy yet lightweight structure. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage.

Braking performance is provided by TEKTRO MD-M280 disc brakes with 160 mm 6-bolt brake discs at both the front and rear. These brakes offer reliable deceleration and control in a variety of riding conditions. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO Tourney RD-TY300 21-speed rear derailleur, supported by SHIMANO ST-EF41 EZ Fire Plus shift and brake levers and the SHIMANO Tourney FD-TY510 front derailleur. This combination enables precise gear changes and a wide range of gears for different types of terrain.

The SR SUNTOUR NVX-30 fork, with 75 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride by absorbing shocks and bumps on the road or off-road. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a FUXON FS-30 front light with a 30 lux LED and switch, as well as a FUXON RL-Mini Clip rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety on the road.

Other features include BULLS pedals, a STYX crankset with 48/38/28T chainrings, a SHIMANO MF-TZ500-7 cassette with 14–28T, and a KMC Z-7 drivetrain. The MTB riser handlebars and Sport Ergo grips ensure an ergonomic hand position and comfort whilst riding. The Ahead stem and the FSA no.11N headset contribute to the stability and precision of the steering.

The DDM-2 rims, combined with SUPERO Ranger Reflex anti-puncture tyres in size 44-622, offer a robust and puncture-resistant ride. The hubs feature a SHIMANO hub dynamo with a 6-hole mount at the front and a rear hub with a 6-hole mount and quick-release mechanism, ensuring easy maintenance and high reliability. The BULLS Sportive Comfort saddle and aluminium seatpost provide extra comfort on longer rides.

The Wildcross Street is rounded off by practical SKS Velo mudguards, which protect against splashes, and a sturdy centre-mounted kickstand, which makes parking the bike easier.
