Bulls URBAN EVO 1

The "URBAN EVO 1" model from Bulls, released in 2024, is a versatile and robust e-bike that is ideal for urban use. It combines high-quality components with a modern design and offers excellent value for money at a price of EUR 3,399.

The URBAN EVO 1’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium with internal cable routing, which not only gives it an attractive appearance but also protects the cables from external influences. With a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, this e-bike is also suitable for heavier loads.

Braking performance is provided by TEKTRO HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear. These offer reliable and powerful braking performance under a wide range of conditions. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO Acera RD-M3100 rear derailleur in combination with SHIMANO Alivio SL-M3100 shift levers, which provide a total of 9 gears, enabling precise and smooth gear selection.

The bike’s fork is a Grinder aluminium model, which provides additional stability and comfort. For lighting, it is fitted with a FUXON FS-50 front light with a 50 lux LED and switch, as well as a FUXON R-60 LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The Wellgo platform pedals offer a secure grip and good power transfer.

The URBAN EVO 1’s drivetrain consists of a SAMOX EC38 crankset and a SHIMANO CS-HG200 cassette with an 11–36T range. The KMC E9S drivetrain ensures efficient power transfer. The Urban Comfort handlebars and ERGON GC10 grips offer a high level of comfort on longer rides. The stem is a BULLS Ahead stem, and the headset is an FSA ORBIT C40ACB (NO.42/ACB), which ensures precise steering.

The rims are BULLS DDM-22, fitted with VEE TIRE CO. Speedster tyres in size 44-622, which provide excellent grip and riding comfort. The hubs are FORMULA DC-20FQR at the front and BAFANG H600 at the rear, contributing to the bike’s stability and durability. The saddle is a BULLS Sportive Ergo, mounted on a 30.9 mm aluminium seatpost.

In addition, the URBAN EVO 1 features aluminium mudguards, a side stand and a BULLS Urban / Gravel luggage rack, which offers practical storage space. The motor is the BAFANG R600 with 25/30 Nm of torque, powered by a FIT SuperTube 550 battery with a capacity of 520 Wh. The display is a FIT Master Node LED, which clearly shows all the key information. A 3 A FIT charger is included for charging the battery.
