Bulls Grinder 2

The "Grinder 2" model from Bulls, released in 2023, is a versatile gravel bike suitable for both sporty rides and bikepacking adventures. Priced at 1,399 EUR, it offers a solid spec and high-quality components.

The Grinder 2’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and stands out thanks to its smooth welds and internal cable routing, which ensures a tidy appearance and provides additional protection for the cables. Furthermore, the frame is bikepacking-ready and can carry a maximum load of up to 125 kg.

Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO BR-RS305 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear, mounted via the Centre Lock system. The drivetrain is provided by the SHIMANO Sora groupset, including the SHIMANO Sora ST-R3000 shift lever and the SHIMANO Sora front derailleur. A total of 18 gears are available, allowing for flexible adaptation to different types of terrain.

The Grinder 2’s fork is also made of aluminium and contributes to the bike’s stability and steering precision. For lighting, the bike is compatible with MonkeyLink Recharge front and rear lights, although these are not included.

The drivetrain comprises a SHIMANO Sora FC-R3000 crankset with 50/34T and a SHIMANO CS-HG400-9 cassette with a range of 11–34T. The chain is a KMC HG53, which is renowned for its reliability and durability.

The bike’s handlebars are a Gravel S model, which, together with the 3mm Comfortgriptape grips, ensure a comfortable ride. The stem is an MTB-S model and CCS Slot Mount-ready, offering additional adjustment options. The headset is an FSA ORBIT C40ACB (NO.42/ACB), which ensures precise steering.

The Grinder 2 rides on DDM-2 rims and SCHWALBE G-ONE ALLROUND Perf tyres in size 40-622, which are equipped with RaceGuard and TLE technology, offering good puncture protection and excellent grip. The hubs are fitted with the Centre Lock system and quick-release skewers, making it easy to change wheels.

The saddle is a BULLS Gravel model, which, together with the BULLS aluminium seatpost, ensures comfort on long rides. Overall, the Grinder 2 is a well-equipped and versatile gravel bike, suitable for both everyday use and longer tours.
