Bulls GRINDER 1

The “GRINDER 1” model from the “Bulls” brand, released in 2024, is a versatile and robust gravel bike, available at a price of 1,299 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and, thanks to internal cable routing and bikepacking capability, offers a modern and clean look. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, which provides ample capacity for both the rider and additional luggage.

The GRINDER 1 is fitted with SHIMANO BR-RS305 mechanical disc brakes, paired with SHIMANO SM-RT30 160mm CL brake discs at both the front and rear. The gear system consists of the SHIMANO Claris R2000 groupset, which enables reliable and precise gear selection. The shift lever is the SHIMANO Claris ST-R2000, whilst the front derailleur is the SHIMANO Claris FD-R2000. In total, the rider has 16 gears at their disposal.

The bike’s fork is also made of aluminium and is called the Grinder Alu. MonkeyLink Recharge front and rear lights are intended for use, though these are not included in the scope of delivery. The bike is supplied without pedals, so the rider can fit their preferred pedals themselves.

The crankset consists of the SHIMANO Claris FC-RS2000 with 46/34T chainrings, whilst the cassette is a SHIMANO CS-HG50 with a 11–34T range. The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC HG-40 chain. The handlebars are a BULLS Gravel S model, wrapped in comfortable 3mm handlebar tape. The stem is a BULLS MTB-S CCS Slot Mount ready, which offers additional mounting options. The headset is an FSA ORBIT C40ACB (NO.42/ACB).

The GRINDER 1’s rims are BULLS DDM-22, paired with SCHWALBE CX COMP K-GUARD 40-622 tyres, which ensure good traction and durability. The hubs are by FORMULA, with the CL-25QR model at the front and the CL-26QR model at the rear. The saddle is a BULLS Gravel saddle, mounted on a BULLS aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.

Overall, the GRINDER 1 from Bulls offers a balanced combination of stability, comfort and versatility, ideal for long rides on a wide variety of surfaces.
