Bulls Copperhead EVO 2 XXL 29

The "Copperhead EVO 2 XXL 29" model from Bulls, released in 2023, is a high-performance e-bike priced at 4,299 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and was manufactured using hydroforming, which ensures high stability and low weight. The frame also features internal cable routing, giving the bike a clean and modern look. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 150 kg.

Braking performance is provided at the front by SHIMANO BR-MT420 brakes with a 203 mm Centre Lock brake disc and at the rear by SHIMANO BR-MT410 brakes with an 180 mm Centre Lock brake disc. Gear shifting is handled by the SHIMANO Deore RD-M5120 shadow+ rear derailleur and the SHIMANO Deore SL-M4100 shifter with I-Spec EV, which together provide a reliable 10-speed drivetrain.

The BULLS Lytro 34 Air LOR fork, with 120 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. Lighting can be added as an option via the MonkeyLink Connect system, although the front and rear lights are not included.

The bike is fitted with ZECURE MTB pedals and an FSA crankset. The cassette consists of a SHIMANO Deore 10-speed, 11-46T. Power is transmitted via the GATES® CDN 122T system. The handlebars are a ZECURE Sport-SL model, complemented by Comfort Sport grips and an MTB-SL stem, which is 3D-forged and CCS Slot Mount-ready. The headset is an FSA No.57SC.

The RYDE Disc 30 rims are tubeless-ready and fitted with SCHWALBE Smart Sam K-Guard tyres in size 65-622. The hubs are SHIMANO HB-MT400-B Centre Lock at the front and SHIMANO FH-MT200-B Centre Lock at the rear. The saddle is from ZECURE and the seatpost has a diameter of 30.9 mm.

The motor is a Bosch Performance Line CX (Smart System) with an output of 25/85 Nm and is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The display can be used in combination with the Mini Remote, Kiox 300, SmartphoneGrip, Intuvia 100 or a smartphone. The charger is a standard Bosch charger with an output of 4 A.
