Bergamont Grandurance RD 5 FMN

The "Grandurance RD 5 FMN" model from the "Bergamont" brand, released in 2022, is a versatile and robust bicycle that stands out for its high-quality components and well-thought-out design. Priced at EUR 1,799, this bike offers excellent value for money.

The frame of the Grandurance RD 5 FMN is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium with a 28-inch size, contributing to a total weight of 13 kg. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, ensuring good load-bearing capacity. The fork is a Grandurance Alloy model with quick-release skewers and mounting points for mudguards, which underlines the bike’s versatility.

The brakes are Shimano GRX BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable stopping power. The brake levers are also Shimano GRX, model ST-RX400, and the front brake disc has a diameter of 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT64). This combination ensures excellent control and safety whilst riding.

The bike is fitted with Satori X-Race handlebars, which have a 16° flare, and BGM Race Grip-Tape grips, which are non-slip. The stem is a Syncros RR2.5 with an angle of +/- 6°, and the headset is an Acros ZS56, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Shining DB-T260 disc rims, fitted with Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres. These tyres are foldable, Tubeless-Easy, feature Raceguard protection and are size 40-622. The hubs consist of a Shimano DH-3D72 hub dynamo at the front and a BGM Pro hub at the rear, both fitted with Centre Lock disc brakes and quick-release skewers. The spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The bike features a Syncros Savona 2.5 saddle and a Syncros 2.5 seatpost. BGM Allroad mudguards, 50 mm wide, are also fitted. For added functionality, a Racktime / BGM Allroad luggage rack with the Snapit 2.0 system is integrated.

The lighting comprises a Herrmans H-Black MR4 LED front light with a parking light function and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini LED rear light, also with a parking light function. Pedals are not included with this model.
