Bergamont E-Ville Edition

The ‘E-Ville Edition’ model from Bergamont, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out design and features. The frame consists of a 28-inch lite AL-6061 tube set and incorporates a PowerTube battery. The maximum permissible weight is 160 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

For the braking system, Bergamont has opted for Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and the corresponding Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 Shadow rear derailleur with a Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter, enabling 1x10-speed shifting. The fork is a Suntour Mobie 25 RLR DS with 100 mm of travel and a 15x100 mm axle.

Lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR4 LED front light and the Herrmans H-Trace E LED rear light. The pedals are made from aluminium for trekking bikes, and the bottom bracket is from Bosch with an ISIS interface. The crankset is an FSA CK-745 with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15-degree rise and a height of 5 mm. The grips are ergonomic BGM Comfort Double Density screw-on grips. The stem is adjustable and offers an angle range of 17 to 25 degrees. The headset is an Acros A-Headset, semi-integrated, with a 1.5-inch size and integrated cable routing.

The rims are Ryde Rival 23 Disc, with eyelets, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus with Smart Dual Guard and reflective strips, size 55-622. The front hub is a Shimano Centrelock Disc quick-release and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-MT200-B Centrelock Disc quick-release. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin BGM Basic Athletic and the seatpost is a BGM Pro. Mudguards made from special BGM Alloy with stainless steel struts and a Syncros kickstand are also included. The luggage rack is a Racktime E-Ville Carrier.

The bike is powered by the fourth-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Cruise, with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, enabling a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube 36 V Li-Ion with a capacity of 500 Wh. The display is a Bosch Purion and the charger is a Bosch Compact Charger with 2A.

The “E-Ville Edition” model thus offers a comprehensive range of features at a price of EUR 3,899 and is aimed at discerning users who value quality and reliability.
