Bergamont E-Sweep Sport

The "E-Sweep Sport" model from Bergamont, launched in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike designed for a wide range of uses. Priced at EUR 2,999, it offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality. The frame is constructed from an ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tube set and seamlessly integrates the battery, resulting in a sleek and modern design. The e-bike weighs a total of 17 kg and has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg.

Safety is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-UR300) at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT56). Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Claris system, featuring an RD-R2000 rear derailleur and an SL-R2000 shifter, offering 8 gears. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC Z8 chain.

The fork is made from Sweep aluminium and is fitted with a flat-mount bracket and three mounting eyelets on each side. The lighting comprises a Litemove SE front light with 70 lux and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini rear light, both LED. The pedals are made of aluminium, in keeping with the bike’s urban use.

The handlebars are 660 mm wide Syncros 3.0 riser handlebars, combined with Syncros Urban grips and a Satori Viper stem with an angle of +/- 7 degrees. The head tube is a semi-integrated Acros A-Headset with an integrated cable route. The wheels are the Syncros Capital 2.0 wheelset with Mahle X35+ hub motors, and the tyres are Schwalbe Spicer Plus with Kevlarguard and reflective strips.

The saddle is the Syncros Tofino 2.5, fitted to a Syncros seatpost. Curana Apollo mudguards and an Atran kickstand are also fitted. The luggage rack is a Racktime / BGM Allroad Carrier with the SnapIt 2.0 system.

The Mahle X35+ motor delivers 250 W at 36 V and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The integrated battery has a capacity of 250 Wh and is charged via a Mahle charger with a 2A output. The display consists of the Mahle iWoc One and iWoc Trio.

The frame geometry is designed for riders with a height of at least 156 cm and up to a maximum of 167 cm. The specific dimensions include a reach of 374 mm, a stack of 639 mm, a seat tube length of 435 mm and a top tube length of 545 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, and the head tube length is 120 mm. Further dimensions include a chainstay length of 475 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 90 mm, a fork offset of 51 mm, a top tube height of 742 mm, a fork installation height of 483 mm, a crank length of 170 mm and a wheelbase of 1094 mm with a bottom bracket height of 281 mm.

The E-Sweep Sport is therefore a versatile and high-performance e-bike, suitable for both urban use and longer rides.
