Steel steed from England: Stanton Switch 9 Series
The Stanton Switch 9er is certainly not a hardtail for everyone, but a collector's item that initially collided with our scoring system to the maximum.

Originally we had the Stanton Switch 9 with Reynolds 631 tube set for our Hardtail comparison in BIKE 9/2020 requested. However, delivery problems brought the bike from Tansley near Sheffield into this individual test. When you take a sober look at the values we determined in the lab, the Stanton makes for big eyes. A total weight of 15.17 kilos with pedals, a frame weighing 3247 grams and wheels weighing 5.7 kilos collide with the BIKE scoring system.

Find out how the Stanton Switch 9er from BIKE 10/2020 performed in the practical test. You can find the article as a PDF in the download area below.

The test costs 0.99 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
