Fully equipped for any terrain

The Specialized Turbo Tero 5.0 EQ cannot deny its MTB genes. 29-inch wheels with 2.3-inch Ground Control tyres promise grip even off the beaten track. A Rockshox suspension fork with 110 millimetres of travel, a dropper seat post and disc brakes from Sram are designed to further increase riding comfort and safety on off-road passages. This is already familiar from the previous Turbo Tero EQ. New: In addition to the mid-range Turbo Tero EQ 4.0, there is now also an even more sophisticated 5.0 version.

Both the riding position and the handling are optimised to offer the rider comfort, safety and control. The hydraulic disc brakes make it easy to control speed, while the larger tyres ensure better traction in corners and when braking on any terrain. With genuine mountain bike parts such as the four-piston DB8 Stealth brakes and sensitive Recon fork from Rockshox, the Tero 5.0 EQ sets special accents here.

The Specialized Turbo Tero 5.0 EQ is powered by the Full Power 2.2 motor, which is based on Brose's Drive S Mag. New on the Tero 5.0: The motor has like the sporty E-MTB Turbo Levo full 90 Nm of torque. The previous Tero EQ models were throttled back to a maximum of 70 Newton metres. At full power, the drive is designed to provide particularly dynamic support when pedalling.

In the EQ version with mudguards, pannier rack and StVZO-compliant lighting system, the bike is the perfect everyday replacement for a car. This is complemented by an anti-theft function. The motor can be deactivated at the touch of a button and only switched on again using a personal PIN. You can also activate an alarm in the Specialized app. As soon as the bike is moved without authorisation, an acoustic signal sounds.
