Heavy, average bike that is not up to date for 2011 with nine-speed equipment.

With the Dice Big 7, it seems that newcomer Kreidler is a year too late with its hardtail debut. The nine-speed drivetrain and Juicy 3 brakes dominated last year's test field, but are no longer up to date for 2011. The heaviest frame (2011 grams) scores with a comfortable geometry thanks to its 140 millimetre long head tube. The 11-32 cassette, with which you have to shift gears more often at the front, is significantly less comfort-oriented than the large 185 brake discs. Details such as the lack of holes for a second bottle cage, a seat post that is only 300 millimetres long and the fact that the warranty is invalidated for marathon use reduce the score in the BIKE judgement. The paint quality is also poor. On the other hand, there is nothing to improve on the cockpit.

With the support only 300 millimetres long, 1.80 metre tall riders are already reaching the limit on the Kreidler.Photo: Unbekannt With the support only 300 millimetres long, 1.80 metre tall riders are already reaching the limit on the Kreidler.
