This leads to an upright riding position and somewhat unsteady handling on the descents. On the trail, the 27.5-inch Dice belongs more in the lively corner and doesn't exactly impress with its smooth ride. On the other hand, the wheels impress with very good acceleration values. You need them, because the gearing is quite tight with a 32-speed cassette, and the lightest uphill gear is not exactly beginner-friendly. Kreidler is the only company to fit a steel suspension fork from Rockshox. The control knobs are much smoother and the response behaviour is also better than that of the competition. Unfortunately, the fork lacks a more solid compression damping, but in comparison to the test group, this is complaining on a high level. The gear cables run openly under the down tube and are fully exposed to dirt. Another pity: there is no quick-release saddle.
Conclusion: lively touring bike with an upright riding position.
PLUS Sensitive suspension fork, good wheel acceleration
MINUS High front, cable routing, no quick-release saddle clamp
