Giant Terrago Disc
Weak equipment, undamped fork, heavy bike. Therefore not suitable for off-road riding.

For € 499, Giant offers a beautiful hydroformed frame with good details and an individual design. However, there is not much budget left for the equipment: the Acera groupset is not convincing, looks cheap and does not inspire much confidence with regard to off-road use. Giant's own brakes (fully hydraulic!) are weak and the levers are too far away from the handlebars for small hands. The fork is completely undamped and bounces out, causing eyes to widen in fear on the downhill test lap. The fork rattling is also annoying on the climbs. At 120 mm, the stem is clearly too long.

CONCLUSIONWeak equipment, undamped fork, heavy bike. Therefore not suitable for off-road riding.

TUNING TIP: Fit a shorter stem.
