BIKE ASSESSMENT: You can feel the excellent acceleration from the very first pedal stroke. The bike is one and a half kilos lighter than the standard model. The super manoeuvrable character of the "Anthem" (steep angles, short wheelbase) is enhanced by the diet. With the Tufo wheels, you have to show courage with too little air pressure. Then they stick to the ground, roll subjectively well and give a good ride feel. Giant has built the bike for twisty courses and sandy ground, which fits. The suspension is also aimed at crisp, sporty use and has retained its qualities (platform shock, lockout on the handlebars).
