Many companies didn't even have their Avinox M1 bikes on the market when Avinox the new M2S super motor (test here) has introduced. Does this mean that many e-MTBs are outdated before they are even available? No! Because the mounting points of the two motors are identical. Theoretically, all frames developed for the M1 motor also fit the new M2S motors. Most bike manufacturers are therefore giving their new E-MTBs a direct update. Commencal had already presented its Avinox bike at Eurobike 2025, but it was not yet available. Now it's clear: the Meta Power SX DJI will be equipped with the new Avinox M2S. The direct-to-consumer company from Andorra combines the latest drive system with established, tried-and-tested features of its Meta platform.
As with all of the manufacturer's models, Commencal consistently relies on an aluminium frame for the new bike. The geometry and rear triangle are based on the familiar Meta designs and aim for a balanced ratio of smoothness, control and agility. The proven VCS system (Virtual Contact System) is used for sensitive and efficient suspension behaviour.
The Meta Power SX DJI offers 160 millimetres of suspension travel at the front and rear. In combination with the Mullet wheels (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear), it positions itself as a versatile all-rounder for demanding terrain - suitable for sporty bike park use as well as technically demanding alpine tours. The 800 battery is permanently integrated in the down tube and the quick charger is included with all models ex works.
Velduro is a new player in the e-bike market and is positioning itself with a clear focus on Avinox motors. With the E-Enduro Rogue, the New Zealand-Chinese company wants to realise an ambitious market entry in the performance segment. The technical focus is on the rear triangle with a high pivot point and chain deflection: depending on the setup, the system should provide between 165 and 172 millimetres of suspension travel. Velduro refers to this concept as a "mid-pivot design".
Velduro relies on several flipchips for precise adjustment to the area of use and riding style. This allows both the progression of the rear suspension and the wheel size at the rear to be varied - either 29 inches or 27.5 inches. Another relevant aspect for experienced users: The Rogue is not only available as a complete bike, but also as a frameset, making it ideal for customised builds.
At Eurobike 2025, Steppenwolf presented several bikes with Avinox motors, at that time still under the DJI label. And the Tundra E-MTB fully has also been on sale for a while. The German brand will gradually update the bikes to the new Avinox M2S. The carbon full suspension bike has 160 millimetres of travel, 29er wheels and the Avinox battery with 800 watt hours permanently integrated into the down tube. If you've been waiting for an attractively priced E-MTB with an Avinox motor, the Megamo Reason (test here) take a closer look. Megamo is also converting its entire range to M2S motors. The option of an aluminium frame means that the entry-level prices of €4,999 for the fullys remain particularly competitive. The more exclusive brands within the Avinox bike category generally do not reach this price range. The lighter carbon models also start at a moderate level of €5,999. In addition to the update to the new motor, the XL size is also new to the programme.
Megamo takes a two-pronged approach with the Reason. The Avinox Fully is available both as a robust AM to Enduro version and as a weight-optimised light version (Reason Air). Both versions differ in terms of equipment, suspension travel and total weight.
The Czech brand Crussis is completely converting its comprehensive range of Avinox bikes to the new Avinox M2S. Surprisingly, even the affordable models come with M2S and not the cheaper M2. There are various fullys and hardtails, including aluminium models. This makes the models particularly attractive in terms of price: aluminium fullys are available from 4,490 euros, while hardtails are available from 3,590 euros. The bikes with a rigid rear are also suitable for trails and are equipped with a telescopic seat post and 140 or 130 millimetres of suspension travel. At the top end of the scale is the e-Full 12.11-Pro X for 11,990 euros. It offers consistent enduro equipment and is fitted with a Fox Podium upside-down fork. The lightest model is said to weigh less than 20 kilograms. Depending on the variant, 600 or 800 batteries are used, which are firmly integrated in the down tube.
Unno from Spain is a particularly exclusive brand and the Mith is the prestige object of company founder César Rojo and his team. The elegant carbon enduro bike was presented back in 2025 as one of the first production bikes with the DJI Avinox M1 system. Now it is not a completely new bike, but a consistent technical development: the new Avinox M2S motor has found its way into the striking full carbon frame. And it should push the performance limits in the enduro segment noticeably upwards. The biggest problem with this bike remains the price. Starting at 9995 euros, the top model changes hands for a whopping 15,095 euros.
The Teewing Flux One is a high-pivot E-Enduro from China. The technical core concept is a high-pivot chassis with chain deflection: a high-positioned main pivot point creates a rearward-facing wheel lift curve, while the deflection effectively reduces the pedal kickback typical of high-pivot concepts. With 180 mm travel at the front and a choice of 170 or 178 mm at the rear, the bike operates in a travel range that is clearly designed for demanding enduro and bike park use.
A key feature is the extensive geometry and setup variability via a differentiated flip-chip system. The steering angle, seat angle and bottom bracket height can be adjusted, as can the rear suspension travel. In addition, the Flux One can be ridden either as a classic 29er or as a mullet setup (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear); the chainstay length is also variable, which enables a targeted adjustment between a smooth ride and increased agility.
All in all, the Teewing Flux One positions itself as a powerful, versatile full-power E-Enduro designed for tough conditions, from alpine trails to bike parks.
The US brand Crestline was also one of the manufacturers presenting an Avinox bike at Eurobike 2025. The RS 181 gravity bike has adjustable suspension travel from 161 to 181 mm and is compatible with both mullet and 29er wheels. There is also a special solution for energy storage: the DJI 800 battery can be removed from the closed down tube by sliding it out. The frameset including shock will cost 6,999 US dollars. However, customers from Europe will have to organise the battery separately, as Crestline does not ship it across the Atlantic.
Forbidden jumped on the DJI bandwagon extremely early. Now they have refreshed the Druid E range with the new M2 and M2S motors. In addition, the Druid E is getting the Super-Enduro Dreadnought E a big brother with more suspension travel to the side. Since then, the Druid no longer runs on two tracks, the LitE and CorE sub-models are history. The full carbon frame with high-pivot rear triangle and consistent mullet set-up remains. There are four models between 7499 and 12,599 euros to choose from, with the two cheaper ones coming with the slimmed-down M2 motor. The batteries are permanently installed in the down tube and come with a choice of 600 or 800 watt hours.
