YT Industries is continuing the tradition of the 10s and bringing back the legendary Tues Limited series. The YT Downhiller will be available with exclusive equipment at a competitive price of 4444 euros. The special model is limited to 50 units. The sales launch is 12 December 2025.
In the summer of 2025, European private equity investor Ardian pulled out of YT, the company slipped into insolvency and its future was uncertain. In autumn, YT founder Markus Flossmann then announced the rescue plan. Flossmann bought back the company himself and is now relaunching it with a streamlined structure under the name Young Talent Industries. The strategy: The new company wants to concentrate once again on uncompromising bikes at fair prices. The YT Tues Limited seems to fit this promise perfectly. For 4444 euros, the downhiller is available with a World Cup carbon frame, exquisite equipment and a special paint finish. However, only 50 units are available. A comparison shows that this is a really tempting offer - which is why you only want to afford a very limited number of bikes: The YT Tues Core 2 is roughly in the same league as the Limited in terms of price at 4299 euros, but with its Rock Shox Boxxer Base fork, Sram GX DH 7-speed drivetrain and Sram DB8 brakes, it falls well short in terms of equipment.
The Tues Limited 2025 marks the return of an iconic downhill series that laid the foundations for YT's reputation as a young, non-conformist gravity label between 2011 and 2013. Back then, a strictly limited special edition with exotic top components was released annually. The concept aimed to provide ambitious riders with high-quality equipment without charging astronomical prices. Each limited edition model was a statement of the extravagance that the brand wanted to embody. This should continue to be the case in the future, and the new Tues Limited 2025 is intended to draw attention to this change of heart.
The carbon frame of the Tues Limited comes directly from the World Cup programme. The Tues platform is designed to deliver uncompromising performance and enables precise coordination of geometry and wheel size. Thanks to the flip-chip system, MX or 29-inch wheels can be fitted depending on the frame size.
The special equipment focusses entirely on performance components. An exclusive paint finish also distinguishes the Limited model from the standard version. The selection of components includes only top-quality products. Every detail has been optimised for maximum performance in downhill use. The suspension comes entirely from RockShox. The Boxxer Ultimate fork works together with the Vivid Ultimate shock. This combination is regarded as the reference in professional downhill sport. Numerous World Cup victories confirm the reliability of these suspension components under extreme conditions.
The drivetrain is based on the TRP EVO 7 system with carbon cranks. The O-Chain technology is designed to reduce drive influences on the chassis. The TRP DH-R Evo Pro brakes ensure controlled deceleration even at the highest speeds. The Crankbrothers DH carbon wheel system with Industry Nine hubs completes the high-end equipment. This combination promises minimum weight with the best possible stiffness.
There will be exactly 50 examples of the Tues Limited 2025, no more. Sales will start on 12 December 2025 at a price of 4444 euros. It is obvious that company owner and marketing brain Markus Floßmann is not throwing an economic rescue parachute with the Tues Limited, but wants to draw attention to the relaunch of the brand with the ridiculously low price.
