Anyone who’s been waiting for the Amflow TL Carbon to go on sale can now snap one up: the full-suspension SUV e-bike has been available worldwide since 26 October 2026. In Europe, it costs 3,499 euros. And that price really makes a statement. The bike can be purchased via the official Amflow online shop and authorised local dealers. BIKE has already featured and tested the TL in detail. To mark its market launch, we’re summarising the key points once again.
As a carbon-fibre SUV e-bike, the Amflow TL is virtually unrivalled – certainly at this price. The SUV e-bikes currently available are often considerably heavier, less capable off-road and easily cost twice as much! That alone makes the TL one of the most interesting e-bikes of the year. - Adrian Kaether, Test & Technology Editor
The TL expands Amflow’s range with an SUV e-bike designed to combine everyday use, touring and off-road excursions. A carbon frame and full suspension are combined with everyday-ready features including mudguards, lights, a luggage rack and a side stand. It also features 27.5-inch wheels and 120 millimetres of suspension travel at the front, whilst the rear offers just 105 millimetres. In the context of e-mountain bikes, the bike’s suspension is therefore on the tame side.
Amflow has opted for the Avinox M2 as its drive system. The removable battery offers a capacity of 800 watt-hours; the system can optionally be expanded with an additional 480 Wh battery. Also noteworthy is the stated maximum system weight of 200 kilograms. We explain the thinking behind the concept and the technical solutions Amflow employs in our A detailed overview of the Amflow TL Carbon.
At 3,499 euros, the TL looks like an impressive all-round package on paper. The key question, however, is how well the engine, chassis and equipment work together in practice. That is precisely what we have already put to the test.
In the BIKE test, the bike impressed with, amongst other things, its powerful yet easily controllable drive and its comfortable suspension. Its stable handling and extensive standard equipment are also among its strengths. Its limitations, however, lie in sporty off-road use: its heavy weight, comfort-oriented geometry and tyres suited to everyday use mean that the TL is no substitute for an agile trail bike.
If you’d like to know before you buy how these features perform on tarmac, gravel and easy trails, you’ll find a full assessment, including their strengths and weaknesses, in our Review of the Amflow TL Carbon.
With today’s launch, the Chinese manufacturer’s much-anticipated new announcement has become a tangible purchasing option. The TL is of particular interest to anyone looking for a fully equipped e-bike for daily commutes and longer rides, and who also wishes to ride off-road from time to time.
