With the Raleigh ONE, the traditional British brand Raleigh presents the brand's first fully connected e-bike. The stylish urban e-bike is based on a minimalist concept: a removable 360 Wh battery and a single-speed hub motor from Mivice for easy everyday mobility, low-maintenance components and comprehensive smart features that can be flexibly added via an app.

Raleigh presents the Raleigh ONE, a networked city e-bike with a 360 Wh battery and Gates belt drive. At first glance, the bike is strongly reminiscent of the Vanmoof models. No wonder, Vanmoof founders Ties and Taco Carlier were involved in the development of the new Raleigh e-bike in an advisory capacity. The 250 watt rear hub motor from Mivice delivers a range of up to 80 kilometres in eco mode. The e-bike has GPS tracking, an integrated alarm system and Touch & Go unlocking via app. Three membership models unlock different functions, while the Icon membership includes theft insurance from Hepster. The one-size-fits-all aluminium frame comes with hydraulic disc brakes and integrated lighting. Available from September in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK for 2699 euros.

Aluminium frame with integrated lighting

The one-size-fits-all aluminium frame has integrated rear lights in a wraparound design. The double front lighting is designed to ensure sufficient visibility even in the dark. The riser handlebar enables an upright riding position. An integrated SP Connect attachment on the handlebars allows SP Connect cases or smartphone mounts to be fitted. Wide tyres are designed to ensure comfort on different urban surfaces. Hydraulic disc brakes are designed to provide reliable braking power in all weathers.

Gates belt instead of chain

The carbon belt drive replaces the classic bicycle chain and promises a clean ride without oil contamination or chain wear. The Mivice single-speed motor adapts the assistance to the pedalling force and delivers more power when pedalling harder. The motor assistance can be set via the Raleigh app or directly on the handlebar controller. The controller is also used to activate the alarm and unlock the e-bike with a personalised backup code.

360 Wh battery with two charging options

The removable 360 Wh battery enables a range of up to 80 km in Eco mode. In Boost mode, the range drops to 50 km. The 5 amp quick charger supplied charges the battery to 50 per cent in one hour and to 100 per cent in 2 hours and 20 minutes. The battery can either be charged on the mounted e-bike or separately after removal.

GPS tracking and Touch & Go unlocking

The Raleigh ONE has integrated GPS, mobile phone connection and an in-built alarm system. After registering in the Raleigh app, the e-bike can be unlocked automatically with the Touch & Go feature. Riders can track their trips, activate a security alarm and receive push messages about theft attempts and software notifications wirelessly. The app functions are activated through various membership models.

Three membership models with different benefits

Base membership is included free with purchase and offers Touch & Go unlocking, tour tracking, security alerts, push notifications in the event of theft attempts and wireless software updates. The Core membership costs €7.99 per month or €96 per year and extends the functions to include GPS tracking, a stolen mode and service discounts. The Icon membership costs €14.99 per month or €149 per year for a 12-month subscription and starts with a free 30-day trial period.

The Icon membership includes comprehensive insurance cover from Hepster, which covers theft, total loss and theft of individual components up to 100 euros for accessories. The memberships are designed to enable continuous improvements throughout the entire life cycle of the e-bike and pave the way for future developments in the areas of software, support and service.

AXA lock and front carrier as accessories

A robust AXA wheel lock offers additional security during stops. A front carrier with robust and elasticated straps is available, to which a bike basket can be attached after assembly. Further accessories are planned for the future to complement the functions and minimalist aesthetics.
