The Early Rider Bella Velio wants to shine as the very first two-wheeler for children aged 10 months and over. If the company's marketing department has its way, it will preferably be found under Christmas trees across the country.

Early Rider presents the Bella Velio, a very special balance bike for babies or toddlers from 10 months. The steering and control should be intuitive and easy for toddlers' very first "attempts at walking". Thanks to the patented Active Balance Control System. The 2.8-kilo vehicle uses ball wheels instead of conventional tyres and is therefore said to provide significantly greater stability compared to conventional wheels. The frame is made of walnut-birch laminate, so the bike should also cut a fine figure in a stylish designer living room. The special C-Go rear wheel steering is designed to make steering intuitive even for the youngest children. Available in five colours for 199 euros with an adjustable seat height of 215 to 245 mm.

Active Balance Control - balance training included

The ABC system is designed to simulate instinctive adult reactions when cycling. If a child loses their balance, the system automatically initiates a steering movement in the direction of the fall. This technology extends the reaction time for the child and is intended to facilitate successful balance corrections.

The idea behind it: According to the manufacturer, dynamic balance only develops through active body control in unstable situations. Conventional ride-ons with three or four wheels offer complete stability and hardly promote balance skills. The Bella Velio aims to create controlled instability with maximum safety.

C-Go rear-wheel steering follows natural movements

The patented C-Go technology enables rear-wheel steering that mimics crawling movements. Children steer intuitively by shifting their weight without having to understand the complex front-wheel steering. According to the manufacturer, this development begins before the age of 20 months, when cognition for turning book pages begins to develop.

Walnut-birch frame

The frame combines walnut with A-class birch laminate for exceptional durability and an elegant look - which should please parents in particular. The low centre of gravity enables effortless rolling without the burden of excess weight. CNC-machined AL6061 components on the headset and steering head should ensure precise function.

Optional drawbar for assistance

The adjustable seat uses 15 mm foam padding with a food-safe silicone cover. The seat height can be adjusted between 215 and 245 mm. A three-part telescopic aluminium drawbar with foam ball handle is included for the first attempts at driving. It provides parental support and can be removed or attached as required.

Five colours, high price
