The name of the children's balance bike is a little reminiscent of the 80s. But the Affenzahn looks awesome with its bright colours. And since everyone wants to get back to nature, but not on foot, it's best to start with a high-quality balance bike for the little ones aged 1.5 and over, as this makes the transition to their first bike... fluffy - as they used to say back then.
Freedom for the jelly babies, away with the bag. For this reason, the Affenzahn balance bikes have a particularly low entry, which makes it easier to get on and ensures that the frame is not in the way when taking a break, collecting leaves or parking in a puddle. The saddle is also ergonomically adapted and therefore tub-shaped to provide plenty of support.
The wide handlebars give young bikers more control - just like the grown-ups. And the tyres on the wheels are also modelled on those used by adults: 14-inch wheels at the front and 12-inch wheels at the rear. The mullet tyres (German: VoKuHiLa, or: short at the front, long at the back) are not just another reference to the horror hairstyles of the 80s, they also make it easier for the Affenzahn balance bike to roll over obstacles such as kerbs.
The four available bright colours and associated designs - unicorn, tiger, shark and panther - are one thing. Affenzahn does not think along the lines of the 80s motto: "We treat our world as if we had another one in the boot". The wheel frames are manufactured in a resource-saving injection moulding process, which saves 47 percent energy (CO2) compared to aluminium. The frame is also completely recyclable. There are also no welding seams.
Safety is also ensured by a small feature on the frame, which is an important aid for the first attempts at mastering the little wheel: a steering lock limiter - also known from the big bikes.
