The Uvex City Stride MIPS Hiplock came out on top in the laboratory test for acceleration values. However, you have to accept a little more weight. The highlight of the helmet, which is manufactured in Germany, is the Hiplock cable tie lock integrated into the helmet shell.

The Uvex City Stride MIPS Hiplock in a practical check

The City Stride can be easily adjusted to the head, but the fit is not wobble-free. The height adjustment for the adjustment system is located on the side of the MIPS system, which means that it rotates more in the helmet than with other Mips helmets from KED, Giro and Alpina in the test.

Generous ventilation openings on the Uvex helmet allow sufficient air to reach the head. A net in the front openings provides protection from unwanted insects.

The Uvex helmet also impresses with its high-quality workmanship and many smart details. For example, the comfortable inner padding made from functional material, which is washable and quick-drying. But also the straps with reflective strips and a fastening solution at the touch of a button. This allows you to open or adjust the width of the strap with one hand. Remarkable: the Uvex City Stride MIPS Hiplock is the only helmet in the MYBIKE test that is "made in Germany".

A battery LED rear light with two flashing modes at the rear of the helmet provides even more visibility. To ensure that you can enjoy your high-quality city helmet for a long time, Uvex provides buyers with a cable binder lock with a steel core from the manufacturer Hiplock. The lock is hidden almost invisibly in the helmet shell and is a parking option and anti-theft device for the helmet, at least for a stopover.
