Fjällräven, the Swedish manufacturer of outdoor clothing and equipment, presents Hoja, a new collection specially designed for cycling adventures. The company's decades of experience in the development of durable and functional hiking equipment has been combined with a passion for cycling and experiencing nature.
The name Hoja comes from the Swedish word for cycling for pleasure. According to Fjällräven, this approach reflects the company's mission statement of inspiring people to spend more time in nature. This was preceded by a First collection in cooperation with bike manufacturer Specialized in 2022 and another, already with bags and clothing 2023. Most of the garments are available for men and women and in different colours.
According to the manufacturer, the clothing in the Fjällräven Hoja collection is just as functional, durable and timeless as the rest of Fjällräven's equipment. A particular focus is on versatility: the garments should not only be suitable for cycling tours, but also beyond. This means you can pack less and look good even when taking a break in a café. The collection includes
In addition to clothing, the Hoja collection from Fjällräven also includes a range of bike bags. Fjällräven emphasises that its decades of trekking experience have given it the materials and technical expertise to produce equipment for a lifetime in the great outdoors.
This is now also reflected in the bike bags. These bags are designed to allow you to optimally stow your equipment on your bike and be equipped for different tour lengths. The following models are available:
According to Fjällräven, a key feature of the Hoja collection is its adaptability and versatility. This is in line with the company's core intention of producing functional and durable equipment that will last for generations.
This approach is not only environmentally friendly, as less waste is produced and fewer resources are used, but it is also beneficial for customers who invest in high-quality equipment that they can use for decades.
When developing the Hoja collection, the challenge was to create cycling equipment that is as versatile as possible: for a weekend with friends as well as for multi-day bikepacking adventures in the wilderness or the daily commute into the city.
The idea for the Hoja collection was born after a collaboration with the cycling experts from Specialized in California, where Fjällräven was able to gain insights into the world of cycling. Henrik Andersson, Creative Director at Fjällräven, explains that before this collaboration, the company did not see itself as cycling experts, even though cycling has been normal in Sweden since childhood.
During the Covid lockdown, however, the company has been intensively involved with the cycling world and has learnt from professional cyclists and the US bicycle manufacturer. The product development team at Vinkelladan in Stockholm experimented with the new ideas and Fjällräven in order to transfer their expertise in developing functional and durable hiking products to the world of cycling.
When the weather is just a disaster, the Rain Fox Poncho offers optimum protection. Simply pull it over your helmet and fasten it at the bottom - so you stay dry and can forget about the weather. The numerous ventilation openings ensure that the inside remains pleasantly cool even during intense exercise, even in challenging conditions.
Onsies or overalls - which are all the rage anyway - are back again this year from Fjällräven. The one-piece for anyone who is passionate about cycling and needs numerous practical pockets to store their gear.
The Hoja Field Suit is ideal for those who appreciate the flexibility of stretch fabrics and want to keep their upper body covered on steep climbs or fast rides in the lower handlebar grip.
These trousers and shorts are suitable for all activities where freedom of movement is crucial. They are optimised for cycling and designed so that you can wear cycling shorts with a seat pad (bib) underneath. The multifunctional and practical waistcoat can practically replace (almost) an entire saddle bag and safely store all the important items that are not needed during the ride. It is hard-wearing, has a fit optimised for cycling and can be waterproofed with Fjällräven's Greenland Wax. >> e.g. available here

The lightweight T-shirt has elongated sleeves to protect you from the sun and a longer hem at the back. The Hoja logo adorns the front. Merino wool ensures odour neutrality and moisture regulation, while polyester increases durability.

The Hoja bikepacking bags are a collection of traditional bike bags with the characteristic Fjällräven touch. These bags are made from durable Vinylon F material and have a polyamide lining with a water column of 10,000 mm to protect your gear from heavy rain or even snow. Thanks to the Velcro straps, they can be securely fastened to the frame and easily removed when the bike needs to be parked, cleaned or stowed away.
The Hoja Expandable Hip Pack is a real hit! A hip bag for important items that can be converted into a rucksack - ideal for a week's shopping or everything you need for multi-day hiking and cycling tours. The hip bag also has compartments for a 700 ml water bottle and a hydration bladder. Hammer!
