These bikes were among the readers' dream bikes in our last Readers Most Wanted test.
Which mountain bikes should we test? That's what the test editors want to know from BIKE readers. We collect the most popular MTB models via a survey here on our website or on social media and then put them through the BIKE test. Take part!

We do almost everything right. This is shown by our BIKE reader survey 2022. Especially the results on the readers' favourite bikes (Bike of the Year) make us proud. Almost 13,000 BIKE readers voted for their favourite models in the categories Hardtail, Marathon, Trail/Down Country, All Mountain and Enduro. And lo and behold: as if we had suspected it, we have already been able to subject all the candidates that were voted into the top three places to a detailed practical test.

Favourite bikes from the BIKE community

But even if we satisfy the majority of BIKE consumers with our choice of test bikes, we also occasionally receive critical voices: Many readers are interested in exotic brands or want us to test a very specific MTB model variant from a manufacturer. In order to address these interests in general, we want to give the BIKE community their very own test and will soon be exclusively Get to the bottom of your dream bike.

All suggestions and requests can now be sent to the following e-mail address: m.fuchs@bike-magazin.de

We will be putting together a large individual test group from your suggestions over the next few weeks. The price is irrelevant. Whether it's a 500-euro hardtail or a high-end enduro for 14,000 euros - we will try to include everything that looks like a mountain bike.
